A Jesus Christmas Season

Luke 2:10 "But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great JOY that will be for all the people:".
Joy was on God's heart on Christmas. The Father's love came down with the most perfect, precious, undeserving gift of all time-- His son Jesus. " For God loved the world SO MUCH that He gave his one and only son; that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
In our prayers, let's thank Him for the joy of the season and pray also that our kids find their greatest joy in Him.
Here's one just for example:
Thank you God for the bells, elves, toys and goodies.
Thank you for family, friends and the cookies.
Thank you for trees that light, smiles so bright
and Thank you the MOST for that very special night
when love and hope came down to us
so we can walk with You in peace and complete trust.
Thank you, Jesus.
Lord, I pray for the person behind the screen reading this. I pray that their kids would feel your presence and have the great JOY of the Lord in their hearts this season. Help these kids see you in all ways this Christmas season. In Jesus' name. Amen.
The Greatest Gift! Have a baby doll to spare or you can find one for about $15 on amazon or even try a thrift store. Hat boxes, baskets, large wooden bowls or boxes found at dollar tree with some decorative hay.

This one might be my personal favorite. I grew up on it and even as an adult I love decorating and baking this each Christmas. Mom used red velvet for more Christmas-y look. Light the candles, give Jesus your best voice! You know He's smiling down and hear's these kids and the kids-at-heart.

Just read it! You never know how God's word will impact their hearts. Even if they seem too young to understand. Read Luke chapter 2 for the Christmas story of Jesus Christmas Day or Eve if you can't on that day.

Little Daily reminders! Count down with different nativity sets/scenes! Many on amazon.

Nativity set toys - You can read them the Christmas story and play it out at the same time! My autistic son loved his and repeated it with great joy over and over again when he was 3.

**I think each Christian household should pray about whether its right for them to include Santa on Christmas. I personally believe if Santa is going to be around, he can't be more than Jesus. On Etsy, there is a picture of Santa praying and kneeling down to baby Jesus. I love how literal that image is for kids.<It's not this picture on the side, here. It's $10 and you could put it somewhere your children will certainly see it.
Here's the link to the Etsy site to see it:

**A couple bonus catchy Christmas songs to add to the list that you probably haven't heard before that exalt Jesus!*
