Training Ground. Here we go, God.

Whatever you want Lord, its yours. I'm not writing this one for views. I'm not writing this one to attempt to help people receive some of the greatest insight in the world. I'm writing this one out of a place of vulnerability and conviction. This blog I had great big dreams for and I know now that it's truly up to God if this is going to get off the ground or not. But the Holy Spirit gave me a refocus. I am called to be used by God, whether that is by discipling someone in person or putting resources through the inter webs. How it happens doesn't really matter but just that I'm used by God. What if I used this blog as place to use my gift of teaching and practice it. Even if no one ever sees it, notices it, or recognizes it, it's simply me moving the muscles of a gift within the Holy Spirit to be ready to use for greater things one day. I ultimately want what God wants. Paul talks about training, " 24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

The words " to get a crown" and not "running aimlessly" in Paul's words make me realize I need more "strict training" in teaching others about Jesus; teaching them how to live godly lives, how to love people and their families, and how to thwart the evil that comes after God's chosen children.

If I reach 100 people great; if I reach 0 people, praise God. I will still work the "muscles" and be used whether on here or elsewhere- he has not forgotten me and He does not let anything of my own training to go to waste. To God be all the glory. The best room to be in is where the Holy Spirit is, the best place to be is in action according to His flow, the best memories and moments in life are where He is leading and being with me. I have nothing to lose-- there are no winners and losers in God's kingdom( He is the prize!! ) It's just people who stay connected and are in-tune with the Flow of His Guidance to the end.
